Since being back from Sydney I haven't had a chance to sit down and do some creative work. I haven't even touched the brooches I was supposed to do last week. Lucky for me my sister is at the snow, otherwise she would be harassing me right now.
So late last night I got back from the gym, with everyone asleep and not a sound to be heard, (I know HEAVEN)I fiddled away to my hearts content. I have been wanting to make some more feather capes for a while now. I have been tossing some ideas around in my head but hadn't actually sat down to put anything together. I also want to make them slightly different from the first ones and more suited to Spring/Summer. So I have put some things together and I will stare at them for a bit and fiddle some more and stare some more etc....And finally decide on a combination.
Once again the gorgeous silk fabrics you will see in the photos are pieces I have had for a while. The top silk is left over from a frill on a dress I had made. The second is silk from Dubai I had my sister buy for me among other fabulous fabrics.(You will see them in time)
Am also deciding on whether I have 2 capes made or I cape and 1 collar. I only have enough feathers in both colours for a cape or collar each. Sigh. Dilemma's.
