Unexpected treasures

I just happened to pop into the Supa Lifeline on the way to the kids swimming this morning. I wasn't expecting anything and this is what I brought home.

These 2 large old picnic baskets which I will spray paint white this weekend. I am hoping to use them as little storage baskets for toys, magazine, towels, dvds etc.. Will see. $15@

These retro Stube kitchen scales for $2. They didn't have the tray so am on the lookout for one. If you see one let me know. I loved the colour so much I had to take them home. Remember - Yellow is the colour that will define this generation!

This lovely old candle holder. Will put this on the back deck and try to hang it. How cute? $5

And this lovely Stainless Steel cake and biscuit stand. I gave it a bit of a polish although it was already in excellent condition with no marks or stains on it. I am loving stainless steel at the moment! $6
