Workspace

I usually like everything very neat and tidy. Not a hair out of place. Yet you wouldn't know it from my workspace!  When I work I like to leave everything out so it is at my fingertips and I can come back to it. Very rarely I can't find something on my workspace. If it has been moved or touched I WILL KNOW ABOUT IT! That never use to happen however I have a little Miss now who can't help herself. And I can't blame her. She is always asking if she can do some "SoniaM". I am having some shelving put in on the weekend so will make things a little more organised, I hope.

At the moment her class is learning about people's roles in the community and she has asked me to go up to her school and talk about the work I do. I'm sure the girls will be interested but I can't imagine many of the boys wanting to know how to make velvet and grosgrain ribbon, swarovski crystal necklaces or beautifully coloured feather capes.

I am to take tools of the trade and possibly a photo of my workspace. Do you notice the branch in the top right hand corner? It's been there for over a year and my husband said he only just noticed it now when the little Miss asked him for the butterfly fascinator which happened to be hanging up on it. I will eventually make it a light feature. I will wrap the little tree lights around it and hang butterflies and birds on it with swarovski crystals hanging off it.
