Berry

There is so much to see in Berry. There are many hidden alleyways and little stores tucked into little corners. You will need more than a day to explore Berry. Photo below is coming into Berry from the North end.

I never quite make it to the Sew and Tell store in Berry, however I did on Saturday. And this is what I picked up. A little felt dog brooch for my 6 year old daughter who loves it, some cut out felt flowers to make some brooches with and the pom pom trimming which I haven't seen in this colour plus it was half the price I could get in Brisbane.

Inside the store, there is so much for all the crafty people out there. It really is a treasure trove and you could just get lost in it. Even if you weren't crafty you would feel the need to be crafty as there is something for everyone. Not to mention the ladies were really lovely and very helpful.

A place with every kind of cheese imaginable.
Roots and Wings design which is a lovely little boutique to get your fashion shopping fix.
Lots of great homeware stores, but haven & space is my favourite. It is inexpensive and something for everyone.
And my absolute favourite store is the Cuckoo Corner. It is an amazing shop owned by an elderly couple who stock yes many cuckoo clocks and other amazing toys for both adults and children. I bought the retro robot for my son and the Russian dolls for my daughter for half the price I could get them in Brisbane and they had a much bigger range to choose from. Will be calling them up for when I need gifts.
