My Backstage Dior finally arrived and it is FABULOUS! It is practically all photos, so very visually appealling, stimulating and inspiring. I just wanted to photograph everything and show you but just too many pages.
In all the photos the models look like they are having a party of a time. Funny enough when I was reading the little text there was, Roxanne Lowit the photographer actually says that backstage it is very much like a party.
Before each model struts down the catwalk he whispers in their ears their characters part in the performance and tells them to feel it and play it!
No wonder in the interviews with models those lucky enough to be part of the Christian Dior - John Galliano experience, they all say it is the favourite catwalk to do. They all feel like they are playing and not working. Wouldn't that be nice!
