Friends and Flowers

A friend bought these round for me today for looking after her delightful daughter. She happens to be my sons girlfriend. So he tells me. She is 4 and my little man is 4 in a couple of months.
I think these are poppies? They are so delicate and paper thin. Such beautiful colours and suits my newly painted area and mirror perfectly.

Black

It's a rainy day today in Brisbane and so this morning had an improptu catch up with a few friends. I suggested 'Black' a cafe on Zillman Rd at Hendra which I had never been too. I drive past everyday and it is always full. It beckoned me and I heeded the call.

It looks like just a small little hole in the wall but in actual fact it is quite deceiving.

Lots of seating and without the overcrowding factor as it is quite long so everyone gets their own space, almost intimate like. We had a great time.

I'll be black. Oops I meant back!

Talented Friends

Well finally my talented and creative friend returned from holidays in Chile. She came round for coffee with some gorgeous new designs in hand. They are just very cute. Have already placed my order. Another friend and myself will be having a small market day soon. So stay tuned for details.




Whilst talking about the market day I was thinking about who we could get that would be interested in having a table to sell some of their wares. I realised that a lot of my friends are quite talented and crafty. Having said this it is not the craftiness that brings us together. This is something we find out about each other later on. Interesting?
