I finally cut my lavender this year as it was just overgrowing. It really is the easiest plant to grow after you prepare the soil of course. There was so much of it but I only kept a small amount as there was literally too much. Below are photos of them drying out. I also kept just the flower buds from some of the plants and will try make pot pourri. I don't know when as am very busy making jewels at the moment. Will post some photos of them soon.

Happy New Year!
Helloooo Everyone! Yes I have been absent for quite some time. I was very busy before Xmas and coupled with my laptop dying on me, I couldn't quite keep up with everything. I had a lovely holiday at the beach, sleeping and managed to learn to make mojitos! (Very easy unfortunately!) I am learning on a new computer until I get my new laptop.
Anyway hoping everyone had a lovely break and a fantastic start to the new year. I am starting mine off today with a birthday lunch. I gave the birthday girl a beautiful orchid last week but lunch is today so am giving a bunch of my lavenders, YES you heard me My lavenders from my very own garden as a little something today. One bunch I picked before Xmas and have dried out and the other I picked this morning.
Enjoy your Monday.
Cheers SoniaM

Spring is here!
Look what I found yesterday! Yes my Lavenders are growing and flowering.
I don't know if you can see the new shoots in this photo, but they are there.
And we have many snails. I don't know if that's a good thing though?
I am so loving the new colours. I'm a bit obsessed with the yellow and the blue and the cream!
