Flowers

I have a very talented and crafty friend who makes the gorgeous silk, satin and tulle flowers that I put on some of the necklaces, capes and the new feather collars. I sew the crystal centre pieces and the feathers on but she makes the actual flower.

Well she has gone to Chile with her family for holidays and of course that has left me to fend for myself. She left me with a small stockpile which I have pretty much used. I racked my brains for the memory of her telling me how to make them and I gave it a go the other night. These are the results. Mine of course are twice the size so will have to figure out what I am going to do with them.

As you can imagine I was very excited when I discovered that I could actually make them. So have been fiddling with them and attaching feathers and velvet and beaded ribbons on them. Maybe? I have to decide what their purpose will be.
