My First Post

Well this has been a long time coming and I thought it was never going to happen, but here I am. I have been inspired by so many blogs that I hope I can do the same for others.

I wanted to do this blog to document the goings on of my “hobby” business, SoniaM. SoniaM is my passion and I cannot live without it. I have tried and it is not good for anybody in my house, including the cat.

I am a creative person and have been making jewellery and fashion accessories for about 10 years. In that time I have sold through a number of boutiques in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Gold Coast. I took a break when my second child came along and have started creating again recently.

SoniaM has always been about expressing myself as an individual and the fact that people have wanted to buy my pieces because of their uniqueness and versatility has just been amazing.

So I write my first post in the hope to document my inspirations, my processes on creating and my successes and failures in trying to make SoniaM a business and not just a hobby.
