Weekend Bliss

How's everyone's weekend going? My daughter picked the above English Lavender for me at my brother and sister-in-law's house. We went to Ipswich which is about a 30-45 minute (depending where you live) drive west from Brisbane. My brother lives out here and I love visiting him as it is just so relaxing. It is a place where the Salvo stores still have great furniture at even better prices, fantastic friendly service and vintage stores which still haven't been picked over. Some new stores have popped up in the area, such as Provence. I didn't get to take a picture but it is a beautiful antique/vintage store mainly dealing with furniture, in the main street of Ipswich. Oh and the stores all close at 12 noon on Saturday. My brother and his wife bought the most amazing table (see photo below) from here at a ridiculous price.

So anyway this is the view from lying down on a blanket in the back yard.

The Olive Trees

They have amazing Rose bushes all over the yard however these were the only ones in bloom.

Lemon Tree

Oh and the Magnolia Tree.  I gave this tree to them as a gift however I still refer to it as my Magnolia Tree.  They are my absolute favourite flower and cannot wait for it to bloom.

This tree sits outside the guest bedroom so when it is beautiful and big you will be able to see it out the window. Obviously my room!

It was all very Zen and Peaceful.
