Photo Shoot Nerves

A friend of mine from Women Back to Work, was having professional photos taken. She was beside herself with panic as like most people (you'd be surprised) she doesn't like to be photographed but I believe it is more that they don't like to be the centre of attention. I know beyond me!!!

Before the photo shoot, I went over and helped her prepare. I asked for a rundown and then went through it with her. Firstly we went through what she wanted the shoot to be about. From this we went through what she should wear. I styled a number of outfits for her. Then I went through some poses for her and props that I believed we should use and that the photographer will have similar. And he did. In this way I prepared her with an idea of what to expect so she wasn't going in blind. I find if you have an idea of what to expect then you tend to be less nervous. She was still nervous about being centre of attention but the day ran smoothly with no hitches (rare I know!) as all the hard work had been done. She just had to lie there and smile!!!
