I've finally taken the red feathers down to my seamstress for making a capelet. I was waiting on the black and spot feather trim for my emerald green feather capelet to arrive but taking far far too long. There seems to be a shortage world wide of them.  I think all the designers have snapped them up. Anyway they assured me I would get them next week.

Red feather collar with cream flower

 Once again I love how this red feather capelet turned out. The beaded frill on it is so beautiful. I only had a metre of this ribbon which I bought quite a few years ago. 

 I should have worn this to Valentino on Wednesday. It was amazing. He truly is a Master of Design. It was very interesting for me as I was so looking forward to his Red dresses which I love, but I just loved all of them with the exception of maybe three.(nobody's perfect) The dresses are still so wearable now. I am planning on going back for another look!

Red and White Feather collars

I picked these up from my Seamstress yesterday. I have to sew the beaded trimmings on and make the flower brooches for them.

 I haven't decided on whether to put the black or the cream beaded trim on the red one.

Which one do you think?
