My first pair of Jimmy Choos

Here they are!!! They are beautiful and sooo comfortable. I can see why people have an obsession with them. Yes they are a low 5mm heel to run around in but they just feel like slippers on your feet. The Animal Print Lanvin Dress

Continuing on from yesterday's animal print post I thought I would show you a photo of this Lanvin dress from the 1970's, modeled by British actress of the time, Julie Crosthwaite. It has been hanging up on my board for a while now as I would love to have it made and so have been on the lookout for the type of fabric and print. I expect it would be a silk of some kind but not silk jersey as the sleeves sit so well. Any thoughts?

On My Xmas Wishlist ...so far

I have had a nice and slowish week and have finally had some time to sit and read some of my favourite blogs. And since the kids have been giving me a list to give to Santa, I thought I would make up mine too.
All items below are from where else but Net-a-Porter.

This ring is top of my list. It is an YSL ring.

These YSL earrings are gorgeous but I love them even more because they are not a matching pair. I believe Jean Paul Gaultier had designed some a while ago which are just wild and fabulous. Will try find them. Anyway as a child, my sister and I had a pair of parrot earrings each. Both were different. I used to wear a different one in each ear. If my mum ever caught me she would make me change them to match, however I would always change them back. So to say I looooove this concept is an understatement.

I have the pink version of this Leaves of Grass dress from last season which I love. The blue is so dreamy and holiday looking.

I would wear these with jeans and t-shirt or simple dress. These I can wear for kindy and school drop offs and pick ups.



How divine is this dress from ALICE by Temperley? Also from Net-a-porter . Could I get away with this for school duties? It is silk georgette. Hmmm.
