As much as I love colour, I do love a black feather cape. The black and brown feather capes seem to be the most popular. I can understand as they are the most versatile. No matter how busy or simple an outfit, they just fit right in.
The above cape was for an order in Sydney.
I try and make these as interesting as possible with contrasting feather and beaded trims.
Or I like to use layers of silk and tulle frills, mixed with the feathers for a more contrasting effect.
I love this one. It has a rock chick feel to it.
in LOVE with these feather capes .. where can i get my hands on one?!

ReplyDeleteDo you mind if I ask, I'm trying to machine stitch some rooster feather strip, but my machine will not stitch through, as there's glue inside the strip, do you machine stitch your items?
Thank you in advance, Best wishes, Sue x
