A family that crafts together......

Well I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was very busy.

Saturday morning saw the whole family at Porter's Paints. The kids got to choose a colour they wanted to paint their numbers in.

I filled the holes in with putty and let it dry.
We then undercoated the numbers and the frames I found on my Friday Op Shopping Adventure.
Painted to our hearts content. Carmen (pink) and Capriosa (green)
Cut out corkboard to fit the frame. I bought this ready framed corkboard from bunnings for $20. I took the frame off, cut it and fit it in the back of the picture frames. It was big enough to do both.
I chose Dulux Steel Shimmer and then went over it lightly with Porter's Paints Ambassador Stirling . I wanted to keep mine neutral.
My daughter on the other hand definately wanted pink. I now have to find a frame for my little man who wants it painted green. It's his favourite colour!
