Lilac Feather Cape

I am having a lilac feather cape made up with the goose feathers.  It was supposed to be the lilac feathers with the white with black stripe feather trim above it and then the cream large spotted tulle frill above that, with the gorgeous royal purple as lining. When the seamstress started, she found the white with black stripe feather trim wasn't going to stay put on the curve. It had the tendency to flick up. So after much fiddling we decided on not doing the cream spotted tulle frill. In it's place we are doing a 3 inch royal purple frill underneath the white feather trim (the 2 will be attached to each other) and then will sew the black beaded french trim (which is not in the photo) around the neck area.  (did you get all that?) Will post photos as soon as finished.

Yesterday I picked up some feathers that I had ordered.
I am so happy with the colours.



I think this is my favourite combination but I love them.
