Mother of Pearl coloured leaf multi strand necklace
I made this necklace maybe 6 years ago. It was that long ago I can't remember. At the time I remember loving it but not wearing it very much, what with a newborn baby and all! I have always had it on display in my studio on a bust just staring at it from time to time. Anyway I have been wearing it lately and the last time I wore it was Tuesday of last week on the first day of school. I had so many people commenting on it at the school and asking if it was a new creation. Then I went to do the grocery shopping and had people staring and commenting on it there aswell. I even had to take it off for the lovely lady at the butcher's who wanted a closer look. It just goes to show that if you buy and have something you love, then it's ok to not wear or use it straight away until the time is right. And you'll know when it's right.
