Animal Trend

My whole wardrobe is geared around the animal trend. I can never understand how magazines and online fashion articles tout the animal print trend makes a comeback. I just thought it was a given it never goes away. Like the classic Little Black Dress. What do I know? What do you think?

It's quite funny that the Country Road Ballet flats look quite subdued. They look same colour as when I saw them on the website and bought them. They are in fact quite fluorescent. I could have taken them back but I like a bright pair of ballet flats for Winter. Last year I had pink suede ones.

Equipment Shirt, Free People jeans, SoniaM Designs necklaces and earrings, Country Road Ballet Flats and Chloe Marcie Large Shoulder Bag.

Enjoy your Monday.

My week that was

Well I hope everyone enjoyed their week. Queensland School holidays start today. Since My husband is pretty much bed ridden we are staying put with a few days on the Gold Coast. Have had a busy week as usual but once again My husband thinks I've got the life. I get dressed up, I go get a coffee with friends (sometimes I tell him!), I go do some shopping (all necessities I say!) and then come home and fiddle around with some SoniaM Designs. He mentioned that Sylvester and I have the best life in the family.

On that note, enjoy your weekend and holidays. If going away keep safe.

Friday's outfit (Free People jeans, KAIN label stripe top, Witchery cream cropped jacket, Witchery tan leather belt, Chloe Marcie Bag, SoniaM Designs bracelets and Coles Express Gold sequin shoes)

Lanvin notebooks from the Matches Fashion sale. They have free shipping at them moment if interested or need more encouragement!

Can't seem to get enough of these English Dusted Jelly Babies. Target used to sell them but no more and found these by chance in Aldi. Don't know if good or bad thing as I can't seem to stop eating them!

Found this on side of road whilst visiting a friend. I may use it for the Brisbane French Festival.

And Sylvester this morning after sleeping all night in the warm confines of a bed and then briefly venturing outside then inside for breakfast than outside to start his day on the cane chair.

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers SoniaM

I am now having a pastel moment

I am loving the girly colours in all shades of pastel at the moment, which has never really been me. Growing up I couldn't stand the colour pink and any association with it. I think I am having that moment now.

I recently bought these Free People apricot coloured jeans from Janine Edwards at Marina Mirage. I love them so much I bought the lavender and the blue denim from Shopbop.  I am now seriously thinking about the spearmint aswell.  I find these colours more versatile than the bright bold colours of last season.  The great thing about these Free People jeans is that the fabric is a true denim and not the thin cotton and lycra fabric which is only flattering on those who are super skinny with no lumps and bumps on the legs. So if you are searching for a pair of jeans in the pastel shades have a look on Shopbop or the Free People  website aswell.  Oh and Net-a-porter  has pastels on their summer trend list. Have a look and take note. Happy Shopping!
