Enjoy your Weekend

I'm hoping with Spring here it might revive my flowers. I was told they would look after themselves. Obviously not! Sylvester likes this spot as I catch him here more and more lately. I know I've said it before but I love black and white with yellow.

Thanks for stopping by.

My week that was

Well I hope everyone enjoyed their week. Queensland School holidays start today. Since My husband is pretty much bed ridden we are staying put with a few days on the Gold Coast. Have had a busy week as usual but once again My husband thinks I've got the life. I get dressed up, I go get a coffee with friends (sometimes I tell him!), I go do some shopping (all necessities I say!) and then come home and fiddle around with some SoniaM Designs. He mentioned that Sylvester and I have the best life in the family.

On that note, enjoy your weekend and holidays. If going away keep safe.

Friday's outfit (Free People jeans, KAIN label stripe top, Witchery cream cropped jacket, Witchery tan leather belt, Chloe Marcie Bag, SoniaM Designs bracelets and Coles Express Gold sequin shoes)

Lanvin notebooks from the Matches Fashion sale. They have free shipping at them moment if interested or need more encouragement!

Can't seem to get enough of these English Dusted Jelly Babies. Target used to sell them but no more and found these by chance in Aldi. Don't know if good or bad thing as I can't seem to stop eating them!

Found this on side of road whilst visiting a friend. I may use it for the Brisbane French Festival.

And Sylvester this morning after sleeping all night in the warm confines of a bed and then briefly venturing outside then inside for breakfast than outside to start his day on the cane chair.

Thanks for stopping by.

Monday Morning

I knew it was going to be a cold day when I saw Sylvester searching around for a warm place to curl up once again. It's quite strange it was so cold, since the weekend was quite warm. The other night when the temperature dropped to 5C, I could see Sylvester searching for warm spot to rest his weary paws, so I put one of the blankets my mother-in-law crocheted (they are so warm) in a box for him. He loves it!

The Life of Sylvester

I got home around lunchtime from a busy morning and opened the house up. And who would be sleeping on my reading chair with no intention of moving! What a life!

And the Life award goes to...............

Sylvester!

I've been sending photos of the cat to my husband everyday. Sylvester has got into the habit of waking us up anywhere from 1am-3am to go outside.  Needless to say my husband doesn't think it is funny and if it weren't for me, let's just say Sylvester wouldn't have such cosy quarters to catnap on all day, everyday. Or maybe he would on some fluffy white cloud in Kitty Heaven. The term 'Kitty Heaven' gets used so much in our house that the kids asked where it was during the week!

So on that note, I hope everyone enjoys their last weekend before Christmas. Thank you to all those who dropped in. Be Safe.

Sylvester - a creature of habit

We bought a new outdoor setting. I have covered the setting for a reason. If there is a new piece of furniture in the house, Sylvester will claim it as his own, until he tires of it. He has done this for 11 years. Here he is asleep on it between the arm of the lounge and a cushion.

And then he thought he would sneak over to the Daybed whilst it was uncovered.

I hope everyone enjoys their weekend and you all get a chance to rest. Once again thanks for stopping by.

Cheers SoniaM

Happy Weekend

This is Sylvester our 11 year old cat this morning. He is now on a chair on the back deck, same position. What a life?

This is how I would like my weekend to be. That and reading books. I have so many books I want to read and magazines I have not opened. When I literally get 5 minutes I try and read a few pages. This defeats the whole purpose though doesn't it? Not to mention I have brooches to make and capes to sort out. Anyway here's hoping I get a few hours this weekend.

Happy Weekend
