The Feather Collar
I'm into wearing my feather collars at the moment. I find they are a little easier to wear during the day for casual purposes with jeans and t-shirt or dress and vest. You know for school and kindy drop offs and pick ups, grocery shopping etc...
The feathers I am using for this collar are quite long like the collar above. They really are in between a cape and a collar. Anyway I love to wear them so am gearing up for Spring.

Just thrilled
Above is the lovely Alicia Peet from the (m)art store at Artisan in The Valley wearing a feather bib necklace.
I went down to the (M)art store at Artisan yesterday afternoon in The Valley to take photos of my pieces in the window display on Brunswick St. Upon arriving I was told the brown spotted feather collar was sold. The olive green feather cape is on hold, the torquoise feather bib necklace at Southbank is also on hold and a pregnant woman is thinking about the white feather cape to look fabulous in at an upcoming wedding.
So this is all that is left for the display in the window. One lonely feather and silk frill cape.
When talking to Denise and Alicia yesterday they were so excited with the feedback and response they have had about my pieces. I've been doing this for 11 years and it still amazes and thrills me that people react the way they do and love the pieces enough to buy them.
How fantastic is the lamp in the window by Seven Dandelions $350. Available at Artisan
