Winter Must Have Accessory

The Feather Collar

I'm into wearing my feather collars at the moment. I find they are a little easier to wear during the day for casual purposes with jeans and t-shirt or dress and vest. You know for school and kindy drop offs and pick ups, grocery shopping etc...


The feathers I am using for this collar are quite long like the collar above. They really are in between a cape and a collar. Anyway I love to wear them so am gearing up for Spring.

Refurbished Feather Cape

I finally picked up the feather cape I was having some changes made to. I wasn't happy with the cream and chocolate I had put together below. I added a black feather trim and a black spotted tulle frill. Now it is able to stand on its own.

Chocolate and Cream

This was one of the original capes I had made. I love chocolate and cream mixed together in different shades of colour and texture. If done right it can look sensational. I don't think I got it right with this cape. It just didn't have any wow factor about it.
So I had a fiddle with it and took some frills off.
I am going to add some black spotted tulle and black beaded trim.
