I picked up these beautiful lavender coloured goose feathers today. I think they look beautiful with the cream beaded trim.
I'm hoping to sew the trimming on this black feathered capelet.


I'd also like to be able to start this book this weekend but I don't think it will happen.

Refurbished Feather Cape

I finally picked up the feather cape I was having some changes made to. I wasn't happy with the cream and chocolate I had put together below. I added a black feather trim and a black spotted tulle frill. Now it is able to stand on its own.

Feather Jewelled Collar

I picked up one of my new feather collars at the end of last week.
This is how it started.
Because the feathers are so long it turned out to be a half collar half cape.
It is very similar to the other one but there are some differences. Not only is it smaller to fit snugly round the neck but there is no black and white spot feather trim and I have added a torquoise frill.

Hope everyone had a nice weekend. I spent some of mine fiddling with some feathers, jewels, tulle, velvets and satin fabrics.

This one will be a cape.

These will be a little more subdued than last weeks capes!
