Feathers for a Birthday Girl

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Last week I received an order for a black feather capelet. Can you believe another 40th! This was the combination put together by her very fabulous friends.

Paris here I come!

Ok maybe just my cape, I mean Rebecca's cape is off to Paris.

Rebecca, the owner of this black feathered cape picked it up today.

Rebecca is wearing it on New Year's Eve in PARIS to Restaurant Maison Blanche (The White Room). Have a look at the link above. It looks amazing. Not only that but her sister in law who is French, knows the owners and they have reserved the best table in the restaurant for them! At this stage I have nothing better else to do than to channel her on New Year's Eve.

Situated above the Théâtre des Champs Elysées, on the prestigious avenue Montaigne in the 8th district, the Maison Blanche restaurant offers a fabulous view over the west area of Paris.

Happy Father's Day

What a weekend! So much to do. So little time!
Finally finished everything but the shell necklaces on Saturday. I changed my mind on the colour of the mirror. I painted it Ambassador Stirling from Porter's Paints. Thought it was a better match for the room. Only thing missing are some fresh flowers. No time!
Before photo

I managed to sew the black beaded trimming onto the black feathered capelet.
For some reason and I am not sure why, I will have to look into it, my Net-a-porter magazine went to my Gold Coast address. I of course haven't had a chance to go through it.

Happy Weekend

I picked up these beautiful lavender coloured goose feathers today. I think they look beautiful with the cream beaded trim.
I'm hoping to sew the trimming on this black feathered capelet.

I'd also like to be able to start this book this weekend but I don't think it will happen.

Thank-you to all those who visited this week. Happy Weekend to All!
